Terms and conditions

  • BEGINNERS - aimed at 8 - 12 years old's who have NOT played any volleyball at all or have had VERY MINIMAL experience.

    INTERMEDIATES - aimed at 10 - 15 year old's who have SOME volleyball experience and are looking to improve their skills and gain game experience.

    ***If you have attended more than 2 terms of cadets please choose intermediates***

    Start date: Tuesday 14 JULY 2026 OR Thursday 16 JULY 2026
    Time: 5.30pm - 6.30pm
    Where: Craigslea State High School - Volleyball Centre
    Entrance to the Volleyball Centre is via Maundrell Tce.

  • Norths Volleyball Association Incorporated's Terms and Conditions

    (1) This registration, if accepted by the Norths Volleyball Association's Executive Committee, will be valid through until 25 JUNE 2026. (2) All cadets of Norths Volleyball Association Incorporated undertake to pay Norths Volleyball Association Incorporated all fees upfront (3) Fees paid for the Cadets Training Program are non-refundable, unless otherwise approved by the Norths Volleyball Association's Executive Committee. (4) All members of Norths Volleyball Association Incorporated will at all times abide by the club and player policies so that they will not bring themselves, Norths Volleyball Association Incorporated, Volleyball Queensland, the Australian Volleyball Federation or the sport of volleyball as a whole into disrepute. (5) All members agree and acknowledge that Norths Volleyball Association may refuse to sign a member's club transfer request, if that member owes any money to Norths Volleyball Association at the time a club transfer is requested. (6) All members give Norths Volleyball Association Incorporated consent to utilise any image/video taken of them while acting as a member of Norths Volleyball Association Incorporated on any digital communications. (7) Players may only receive free merchandise as designated by the Committee once per calendar year.

    Norths Club & Player Policy

    All involved within the club shall:
    Conduct themselves within the rules and spirit of the game.
    Encourage individuals to learn and grow within the sport.
    Display courtesy and respect towards all individuals within the game regardless of gender, ability, cultural background or religion.
    Respect the decisions of officials, coaches and administrators in the conduct of the sport.
    Not tolerate nor participate in the act of harmful or abusive behaviour towards any individual within the sport.
    Act with integrity and objectivity, and accept responsibility for your decisions and actions.
    Commit to contributing towards bettering the club culture at any given opportunity.
    Acknowledge their understanding that an individual is not entitled to represent the club until all money owing to the club is paid in full.
    Acknowledge their understanding that any fines received during the course of the season will be passed onto the individuals within the offending team.

    Players involved within the club shall:
    Conduct themselves at all times, on and off the court both during training and games, in a manner that represents the club in a respectful and positive way.
    Give only your best at all times both during training and games.
    Show a high level of commitment towards attending all training sessions, games and duties.
    Accept responsibility for your decisions and actions that may bring both the game and club into disrepute.

    Coaches involved within the club shall:
    Place the safety and welfare of the athletes above all else.
    Work towards person reaching their potential, respect the talent development stage and goals of each individual and compliment and encourage with positive and supportive feedback.
    Any physical contact with a person should be appropriate to the situation.

    Administrators within the club shall:
    Act honestly, in good faith and in the best interests of the sport and club as a whole.
    Ensure that any information acquired or advantage gained from the position is not used inappropriately.
    Conduct your responsibilities with due care, competence and diligence.
    Do not allow prejudice, conflict of interest or bias to affect your objectivity.
