NORTHS VOLLEYBALL...

Norths Volleyball Association calls the northside of Brisbane home and supports both the social and competitive development of Volleyball. The club thrives on creating and maintaining an enjoyable, friendly and caring community for all its members. We are collectively known as the Norths Army or Northonians and we are proud to say we #bleedgreen. We love to see our teams supporting each other and bringing the pots and pans to make some noise. But winning is not everything and our Club thrives on watching all of our soldiers loving the game.

Our home Court has been at Craigslea State High School for many years and we have excelled using just 2 small courts in a hall where it was almost impossible to serve from the base line. We're proud to announce that our new home is in the Craigslea State High School Volleyball Centre which is a purpose built Volleyball stadium encompassing 4 training courts which can be quickly converted to 2 International sized show courts with Mezzanine seating for 300 people.

In 2026 we are excited to announce that we will be offering the following areas of Volleyball...

Competitive

  • Senior and junior participation in the Queensland Premier Volleyball League;
  • Senior participation in the Queensland Volleyball State Championships;
  • Senior participation in the Queensland Volleyball Country Championships;

Recreational

  • Junior Cadets Basic Training Program - catering for intermediate and beginner levels of ability;
  • Social training in off-season (September - April) for all levels of players
  • Social tournaments
